MOVE: will open up the world map with all of the levels you've unlocked through gameplay
STATUS: will let you check stat levels for both Jinochan and her lackeys. Pay attention to Spirit, since that seems to effect the accuracy. Spirit can be lost when you lose soldiers and substantial amount of hp is lost, or when you leave a map without completing a battle.
ORDER:
- Suicide (default): soldiers will attack with reckless abandon.
- Offense: Soldiers will generally try to avoid enemy projectiles and attacks, but generally only focus on a single target. Chance of death is reduced, as well as possiblyits attack power. I usually keep my soldiers in this state if they arent collecting items for me.
- Defense: The soldiers will not attack any enemies. Will focus more on survival.
- Backing: similar to defense but makes focus primarily on item collection. Can be especially useful when youre grinding for fairies in earlier levels
- Evacuation: They simply will not spawn into the map. Useful if you dont want to expend a specific soldier for boss maps.
Next is the items. Keep in mind, the land of TURB does not believe in recycling, so your inventory will get cluttered often. undesirable items can be pushed onto expendable soldiers which you can discharge later on. Its just like how real life works.
WEAPONS: there are 16 weapon types, categorized by melee and projectile weapons. You can tell whats what by seeing the range for each item. These weapons do not last forever; its durability is determined by the number its associated with in the inventory list (e.g an unused sword is typically at 70)
ACCESSORY: Flags, badges, and shields. These will affect Strength, Defense, Agility, Luck, and HP. You can cycle through the category with the L and R bumpers.
ITEMS: This list is incomplete mostly because i have difficulty reading japanese, so this will be an ongoing effort. Try out what each item does for yourself, thats why savestates exist!
- FAIRIES: (are labled by GR, RE, BL, etc.) raise the HP cap for each one you use by about 2 or 3. I recommend going back to level 2 for fairies since the map is smaller and your soldiers will help you collect them.
- [PLEASE NOTE] penalty items will be marked with a "!" in its name. These items are generally useless and exist to take up inventory space. They usually effect Health and stats. Healthwise, they should heal over time if near fairies, so you can remove these items by spreading them out to your team and going to level 2 to let them wander. Otherwise, leave room on your team for some throwaway soldiers if you need to get rid of stat punishing items and either discharge them or kill them with the health punishers (mean, i know).
- HEALTH POTIONS: usually stick at the top of the inv. list for quick access.

NAME: self-explanitory.
DISCHARGE: Disbands selected soldier.
MEMORY: In-game save function. Use this often if you dont bother with savestates.
SYSTEM: options.
I'll try to keep updating this blog with new information, and my gf seems interested in translating the item names, which would help a lot! I know theres an item named "dirty magazine" which is intented to boost soldier's spirit. Anyway, until next time!
